(ANSA) – Rome, August 7 – Here come the new guidelines for the mental health care of adults and children exposed to severe trauma or bereavement. To publish is the World Health Organization. Among the changes, the WHO provides information on the proper use of benzodiazepine anxiolytics and also indicates new techniques such as, for example, the psychological treatment of so-called ‘desensitization’, to alleviate traumatic memories.
