 pact for health Lorenzin small hospitals 60 seats ticket income tax exemptions isee The Ministry and the Regions will sign by the end of June, the agreement on “Health Pact”, that involves cutting of small hospitals, those with less than 60 beds, the stop of the eligibility of the requirements considered as inappropriate and a reform aimed at saving the ticket.

Minister Lorenzin expected savings 10 billion over three years, which will be invested in research and modernization. Paul Russo “La Stampa” explains the changes in the plan.

Small hospitals : those with less than 60 beds Verrano converted into rehabilitation facilities, conversion will happen gradually to avoid job losses. There are more than 192 structures designed to close and 2,800 beds in all of Italy to be transformed into service centers.

Inefficiencies will be closed over 7000 beds that are part of the structures whose service is considered inefficient from the clinical point of view.

Decentralization : the houses of health care will have to ensure 24-hour and 24 diagnostic tests less complex, so as to act as a “filter” to the emergency room.

Payments : a planned revision of prices of tickets aimed at drastically reduced and a more even distribution among the various citizens. The exemptions will no longer be pegged to the income tax revenue but that the ISEE, so as not to “reward” the Dodgers but to benefit those who have more dependents, the elderly and the chronically ill. The latter, if they have a high ISEE income would no longer be exempt.

Agencies Agenas and AIFA : the first will be responsible for monitoring compliance with the Covenant, and the trend of accounts; the second will have more tools dedicated avoidance of repetition of pharmaceutical fraud to the detriment of the public finances.
