Motorhead at the Wacken Open Air festival 2013 | health problems for ... - Soundsblog.it (Blog)

Into That Lemmy Kilmister was not so good, we knew for some time – last month Motorhead canceled the whole summer tour of Europe, including date in Milan. Despite posts by Lemmy via Facebook saying he was absolutely fine, drummer Mikkey Dee had expressed concern.
Spoke, therefore, a simple rest for Lemmy – but the band did not want to miss the opportunity to play as a headliner at the Wacken Open Air, 2013, a prestigious place where to hold the only concert of this Estate.
Unfortunately, according to the testimonies of those who were present yesterday, Friday, August 2 , concert was stopped after less than 30 minutes – half an hour between each other o ften interrupted by pauses between tracks and the other, and even a solo.
After six songs , Lemmy was accompanied on the stage, while Phil Campbell played a solo of ‘The Chase Is Better Than The Catch’. Lemmy is back to finish the song, but then it was accompanied by in even worse conditions.
The audience was very understanding, and accompanied the release continuing to sing the name of Lemmy.

Into The co-founder of Wacken, Thomas Jensen, took the stage after a few minutes, saying with very serious tone that simply did not know what to say or what to do in a situation like that.
‘dropped the freeze for a few seconds, interrupted then by screams always higher than “Lemmy! Lemmy! Lemmy. “

us all that remains is to wish the best bassist / singer, now 67 year old.

Into These are the songs played in Wacken – we look forward to some video, which will post promptly …
