MODENA – “There is the utmost concern for the health of its employees and citizens.” The company guarantees the USL of Modena, a day after the CISL had launched a real security alarm over the situation of clinics, both in terms of yards in place for both the alleged checks carried out without warning and intervention for fibers asbestos in the floors. “Assessments made – said the Ausl – showed that asbestos is present in the outer panels of the building and in some areas of the floors. Compared to the panels is provided for the procedure for encapsulation of the inner wall, thanks to which it is eliminated the risk that in case of deterioration can be detach asbestos fibers. The controls on the presence of fibers in the air, however, are performed periodically monitoring by Local Health and Hospital, and the next are scheduled in the month of January. ”
To date, however, “has never been detected asbestos fibers in the air”: good news, then, because the material “is not dangerous to health when should be stored in a compact form and in a good state of preservation. “
