Madrid, December 20 (Adnkronos / Dpa) – The government of Mariano Rajoy has approved a reform of the abortion law in Spain aims to put an end to women’s right to choose to terminate the pregnancy in the first 14 weeks of gestation. The bill, which must be submitted to Parliament, considers permissible abortion only in cases of rape and risk to the physical or mental health of the woman, but not in the case of malformation of the fetus. In all other cases, abortion is considered a crime.
